2.6.0Feature release

Slow-leak alerts, monthly reports, Halloween edition

Watch the update video on X 0:30
  • Tire pressure trends and slow-leak alerts: cold pressures are recorded automatically and you're alerted early if one tire keeps dropping. New Tire Pressure row on Home, with a shareable card.
  • Monthly report: on the 1st, see last month's charging cost, energy and how much you saved versus a gas car.
  • Monthly share card in three layouts; amounts can be hidden.
  • Siri and Shortcuts: say "EVStudio connect dashboard" to open the live dashboard.
  • Setup Assistant and Feature Guides with step-by-step help and animations.
  • Clearer steps and an animation when Bluetooth pairing fails.
  • "Only when speeding" speed-camera alerts now also fire within 3 km/h of the limit.
  • Home now tells you when vehicle authorization expires or the virtual key is missing, and helps you fix it.
  • Halloween (through Nov 1): holiday decorations, a ghost car on the navigation map and a holiday app icon. Decorations can be turned off in Settings > Appearance > Holiday decorations. Share cards now have a Style option, and holiday styles stay available after the holiday.
  • Share OTA Versions (optional, off by default): turn on in Connection Doctor to help compile public OTA update info. Your identity, VIN and location are never published.
  • Navigation has moved from Home Tools to the live dashboard.
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

2.5.0Feature release

Cost & battery health, on your Home Screen

Watch the update video on X 0:15
  • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets: see this month's charging cost and battery health without opening the app; subscribers also get the health trend, this month's distance and energy consumption. Small and medium sizes, plus rectangular Lock Screen widgets. To add: long-press the Home Screen › Edit › Add Widget › search "EVStudio".
  • Free charging: charging at a friend's place or a hotel can be marked as free (NT$0) with one tap, and the same location is remembered next time. Stats now show both the paid and the actual average cost per kWh.
  • Export charging history to CSV: this month is free; subscribers can export this year, all time or a custom range for expense reports, bookkeeping or your own analysis.
  • Settings, reorganised: grouped into categories like the iOS Settings app (Account & Subscription, Appearance, Dashboard, Charging, Navigation, Speed Cameras, Data & Sync, About) instead of one long list. The Charging Butler menu now has a shortcut straight to the Charging settings.
  • Clearer units: consumption is shown as kilometres per kWh (km/kWh); the battery-health trend is expressed in percentage points.
  • What's New card: after each feature update, a card in the app shows what changed and where to find it.
  • Dynamic Island: speed and battery numbers now roll smoothly; a compact layout is used when the iPhone is held sideways on iOS 27.
  • Speed-camera alerts: on expressways, cameras facing the opposite direction of travel are no longer announced.
  • Fixes: enabling auto-recording before the vehicle is linked now prompts for re-authorization instead of appearing enabled; account deletion no longer times out with several vehicles; other refinements and stability improvements.

2.4.2Bug-fix release

Long-trip consumption and elevated-road camera alerts

  • My Consumption: long-trip consumption now counts only the stretches between two charges that cover 80 km (50 mi) or more at an average of 15 km/h (about 9 mph) or more. Trips where you charge after arriving are now included, while mileage built up from daily commuting is not. The explanation screen spells out which stretches count.
  • Speed-camera alerts: on elevated expressways, a camera on the surface road below stays suppressed while your speed is well above that camera's limit, cutting false alerts.
  • Other fixes and stability improvements.

2.4.1Bug-fix release

Account-linking fix and English review

  • Fixed an issue where linking a Tesla account could fail with "Token exchange failed" for a small number of users; the app now repairs its cloud identity automatically.
  • Live Dashboard: the Security module now shows open rear doors at 2×2 and larger sizes, and its title is no longer covered.
  • Charging records: cost estimates now match across all screens; more reliable cost entry and currency display outside Taiwan.
  • English wording reviewed throughout the app.

2.4.0Feature release

My Consumption and a three-column Cockpit

  • My Consumption (subscribers): Charging Butler adds a My Consumption card. With Auto Record connected to your Tesla account, the app reads the odometer when charging starts and estimates your average consumption from your charging history — no manual entry needed. It appears after a few more charges, with a "How consumption is calculated" explainer.
  • Live Dashboard: the Cockpit Layout now uses three columns in iPhone landscape (tires, gauge, trip info) with larger text, and Text Size adds a Huge option.
  • Floating Window: new Tires styles (square and tall); the style picker is now a menu. The half-circle gauge style has been removed.
  • Charging records: energy is shown and entered to two decimal places; fixed energy or cost values changing unexpectedly when editing a record.
  • Smoother speed updates while driving, with fewer brief freezes.
  • iOS 27 compatibility updates.

2.3.1Bug-fix release

Fewer false camera alerts, better reconnects

  • Speed-camera alerts: fixed false alerts from parallel roads and tunnel exits; the app now asks before downloading camera-database updates.
  • Dynamic Island / Lock Screen: shows "Disconnected" and "--" for speed when Bluetooth drops, instead of a frozen number.
  • Reconnects automatically while the phone is locked — no need to unlock.
  • Charging Butler: BMS-calibrated battery-health formula (values may differ from earlier versions); resumed charging sessions are merged; location-permission prompt on the charging map; in-app notice when Tesla authorization expires.
  • Floating Window: mini-gauge centering fix.

2.3.0Feature release

Full English support and the Floating Window

  • The app is now fully available in English.
  • Floating Window: speed, gear, regen and speed-camera alerts stay visible over other navigation apps.
  • Charging: a connection doctor that pinpoints where telemetry setup breaks, plus charging history import.
  • Fixes for route clearing after arrival, Bluetooth reconnection and speed-camera handover.

2.2.2Bug-fix release

Supported models and speeding-only alerts

  • Pairing: the pairing screen now lists supported models — Model 3, Model Y, Cybertruck and the 2021-and-later refreshed Model S/X can use the Bluetooth dashboard; 2015–2020 Model S/X have no phone key and cannot be paired.
  • Speed-camera alerts: a new "Only when speeding" option, off by default, can be turned on in Settings.
  • Settings: new "Report a Problem or Suggestion" to send feedback from inside the app, optionally with diagnostic logs.
  • Charging Butler: smoother setup for automatic detection.

2.2.1Bug-fix release

Navigation and pairing-guide fixes

  • Fixed the turn-by-turn card sometimes disappearing after switching to an alternative route during navigation.
  • Corrected the pairing guide's tap location: when adding a key, place the card on the center console (the wireless charging pad on 2024-and-later vehicles), not on the B-pillar as previously stated.
  • Settings now links to the web tools and the owners' community.
  • More detailed Bluetooth connection diagnostics, so reported problems are easier to pinpoint.

2.2.0First release

EVStudio arrives on the App Store

  • Live Dashboard: connects to the vehicle directly over Bluetooth, with no cloud in between — works underground with no signal.
  • Navigation: speed-camera alerts for Taiwan.
  • Charging Butler: logs charging automatically and estimates the cost from Taiwan electricity rates.
  • Sentry Video Manager: synced six-camera playback with an event map.
